To help with the problem of downloading a gallery of thumbnails that takes for ever I have posted a list of the pics I have. You can download any of them, they include a name, size and a brief description. (All the pics posted here are of very high quaility and resolution)

The dragonball saga is based on a single character named Son Gokuu or Kakarotto. Gokuuknownt of a warrior race called Saiya-jins, who are by nature a primitive, brutal ,and powerful. The Saiya-jin is race leads to chaos, competition, death ,and violence by instinct. A very important characteristic of this race is that when any Saiya-jin has a life or death experience ( as he recuperates ) he or she gets stronger than before; in summary their power can increase infinitely). Goku was originally born in planet Vegeta, whose ruler was knowned as king Vegeta(all the rulers are called Vegeta). Gokuu's father was called Bardock (he looks just like goku). The Saiya-jins also have monkey tails, that allows them to transform into giant were-monkeys or Oozarus when they see a full moon. As a result of their transformation, they become 10 as powerful as they are in their normal form.

Planet Vegeta was conquered by an alien called Freezer (he resembles a reptile) whose race is far more powerful than a normal saiya-jin. Freezer enslaved all Saiya-jins and forced them to destroy other civilizations whose planets where later sold to other alien races at high prices (much like a black market). The only thing the troubled Freezer was that he knew each time a Saiya-cameamed from a battle he got stronger than before. Because of this he planned the saiya-jins extermination. One day king Vegeta and the other Saiya-jins rebelled against Freezer, thinking they where far more strong than him. Their struggle was useless ,being just low power saiya-jins, they were all easily killed by Freezer alone. After this Freezer stepped out of his ship and with a single finger blew planet Vegeta to pieces.

There were some Saiya-jins who survived Freezemassacreacre. Kakarotto (only a baby and that time), Vegeta(prince Vegeta), Nappa, and Raditz were sent earlier to different planets by freezer himself so they could eliminate their inhabitants. So they weren't around to see their planet's destruction. Goku was sent to the Earth, and was found in the mountains when his ship landed by an old man named Gohan. Gohan adopted and raised Gokuu as his son. In his first years Gokuu was the mdisobedientiant boy Gohan had ever seen, he was amazingly strong and extremely violent. As a saiya-jin baby Gokuu was very mean and strong, he alone could destroy a weak civilization. One day when Gohan was taking baby Gokuu for a ride a strange thing happened... Gokuu being very bad caused Gohanaccidentallyntly dropped him into a cliffclif; Gokuu had a big, big fall and when he landed he hit his head so hard it gave him permanent amnesia. He forgot all about his mission and from that they he grew up anormalmall happy boy. Gohan was responsible Kakarotto's first marcial arts techniques and in giving him his first Dragonball.

One night though, Gokuu went outside and saw a full moon. He transformed into an Oozaru (were-monkey) and losing his frame of mind, become ultra-violent and killed his father (Gohan). When he woke up he had no memory of what he had done. He spent his years of life surviving in the mountains. He had no trouble living in the woods because of his strength and martial arts training. After that he met by a girl name Bulma and this is were the series known as Dragon Ball began.

Prince (or king, since his father was killed in the blast) Vegeta and elite class Saiya-jin Nappa, were on a mission requiring them to be on another planet when Freeza blew up Planet Vegeta. Freeza did this intentionally, as Vegeta was loyal to him, and a powerful warrior. Two other survivors were Brolly and his father, who had been left for dead and dumped out with the trash from a Saiya-jin ship (but survived it thanks to Brolly's abilities). Another Saiya-jin who survived was Taurus, the reasons for his survival are unclear and never explained.
